About this programme:
i-Technosoft Corporation has signed a strategic partnership with London Ventures (a joint venture between London Councils and EY), to improve and enhance efficiencies within London’s local authorities. As part of this agreement, i-Technosoft will generate considerable savings through its child protection and enterprise technology solutions portfolio for local authorities and government schools.
Working with “Looked after children” and enhancing “Corporate parenting” role in local authorities.
In the UK, issues of online grooming, pornography, cyber bullying, sexting, and harmful content on the web are becoming increasingly prominent. i-Technosoft’s child protection programme will improve monitoring and provide greater control to local authorities through its centralised multi-platform solutions, that support a wide variety of devices including Windows, Mac, Android, Kindle and Apple. With over 35 local authorities using the solutions in the UK alone, the aim of the project is to actively protect looked after children from cyberbullying, online grooming through social media and inappropriate content filtering with customised settings for children of various age groups, to effectively combat online crime.
Helping schools to centrally manage and secure tablets.
British Education Suppliers Association (BESA) estimates an increase in schools using tablets for eLearning. BESA reports a sharp rise of 258,000 units in 2013 to 612,000 by 2015. The report also stated that schools are primarily concerned about the management and security of these tablets. Find out how this programme will help government schools.
